LG’s own XD Engine picture enhancement technology uses 6 different processes to raise low resolution analogue signals to fully HD levels by enhancing colour, brightness and contrast levels and delivering a cinema experience. 3D digital comb filter technology cleans images, eliminating dot crawl distortion and blurring at the edges so pictures are razor sharp and crystal clear when they show up on your screen. With a high contrast ratio of 1200:1 and an optimal response time of 8 milliseconds, you are assured of images that are superbly illuminated and free from picture lag.
A really nice touch is the silver tube at the base that hides all controls including S-video connections. You’ll also find two slots for memory cards including the cards from your camera phone so transferring digital photos to your LG 32LP1D LCD TV is a snap.
