Toshiba 47Z3030DB Review

This is one hell of a machine and it pretty much provides every bell, whistle, knick, knack and technological marvel on offer for a HDTV.

This bad boy is top of the range and with a gigantic 47” screen and full 1880p, this is pretty much like having a cinema in your home.

Beautifully designed, with a gloss finish and a wide bevel that makes it feel even bigger, this is the kind of TV that makes a sleek statement that deserves attention.

An LCD screen, it has 10bit colour processing so the colour is rich and accurate, a problem that can happen with lesser LCD’s that only have 8 bit processors. This, combined with the full 1080 progressive scanning means that you get the best possible picture, that is both vibrant in colour and able to handle the fastest sports and action sequences without the combing effect that you get with interlaced scanning.

It also boasts Toshiba’s ‘Dynamic Contrast’ technology which automatically adjusts the backlight so that you get the best detailing, especially in darker scenes.

As with most HDTV’s it also comes with a built in digital tuner so you can receive high quality digital freeview.
